SCOOTER RENTALS

Motor Scooters are a fantastic way to see the islands. Fun, fuel efficient, and affordable, scooters will allow you to spend the day exploring Sanibel and Captiva.

SCOOTER RENTALS RATES:

1 Person Scooter

* All renters must have a valid driver's license at all times. Driver's Permits and Temporary Licenses are not accepted.
** A $250 Deposit is required on each scooter. A $5.00 per day Sanibel User Fee applies.
*** Single scooter weight limit is 170 lbs.

Rules for Scooter Rentals

- Only authorized lessee may operate scooters. Single passenger only.
- All scooter operators must be a licensed driver.
- Lessee is responsible for any loss/damage.
- Gas tank must be full on return or pay $10 charge.
- Operators must obey all traffic laws, including parking fees at beaches.
- If  you drive through Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, obey all rules and be courteous of others.
- All riders must wear a helmet at all times. $50 charge for lost helmets.
- Scooters are NOT allowed on the bike path or beaches.
- Scooters are ONLY to be pushed or walked through Periwinkle Park and Campground.
- Operators must wear eye protection, as required by the state of Florida.
- Scooters are limited to Sanibel and Captiva islands only.
